The IP numbers are registered for the duration of the visit to allow enquiries to be answered, but are not stored beyond the end of any visit. Data logged when accessing the web offering is only forwarded to third parties to the extent that we are obliged to do so by law or by a court decision, or where forwarding such data is necessary for the purposes of legal or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on the internet infrastructure of the Baden-Württemberg State Ministry. Otherwise, no information is forwarded to third parties.
To allow us to use the login functionality for ordering publications, so-called session cookies are used. Session cookies are small units of information which a provider stores in the working memory of a visitor’s PC. A randomly generated unique identification number is stored in a session cookie. This is known as a session ID. A cookie also contains information about its origin and storage period. This type of cookie is not able to store any other data. The session ID is used to collate your orders into a shopping basket.
